Hmmm, odd.0 -
That was the point I was making into why the OP couldn't understand why the Tesco guy wasn't sacked if guilty of this breach.
Better leave it there now as probably going off topic for too long:):)
last post on this, i promise
it wasnt IT (not in tescos eyes at least) because:
- he sold <5% of what he holds
- although he knew the numbers are not looking good (he must have, being the UK CEO), he wasnt in the meeting when the fat cats discussed the profits warning, which follows that he does not have 'privy knowledge' of what was about to happen
in addition to that, no FSA rules was broken, as the trade was not done before a significant company announcement (christmas trading update doesnt count as one). but i am sre that the legal eagles workign for the FSA is working on closing that loop.
on the surface, its not IT and there are various strong points to support that claim.0 -

Actually, I try to alternate between my local and the Extra which is 45 min to 1hr bus ride away.
I think you should walk there to both Tesco's and back unless your bag's heavy on the way home then get the bus.0 -
13 stores in a 20 mile radius and most of them are expresses and not easy to get too.0

Yes but do a bit of research first.
Can't believe I wiped out most of my Herbal Essences JTD by having the Oral-B toothpaste on the same receipt. Rookie mistake...If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

With one dodgy hip, one dodgy knee and two dodgy ankles?
I do walk there and back to my local but I tend to leave the heavier shopping to the Extra as the bus stops quite close to me. If I could be bothered to change buses in town I could get off the bus literally right at my door if I'm prepared to sit on the bus as it takes a massive detour.0 -

Its like a badge of honour...like an ASBO...."I have a Tesco store ban".... **said with nose flung in the air**
Back in the day we called em ATBO's "Anti Tesco Behaviour Orders" ....... said with nose in air but not flung...:rotfl:Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -
