Actually I'd add an addendum to my comments. Knowing what a customer was doing wouldn't be enough either as its not illegal. The only problem is if he was doing it with her express consent so SHE could gain financially from it.
I do think they were stupid doing DTD's in the store she works in though. I don't even do them in my own local.....I appreciate my whoopsies too much to risk a store ban in my local.
LOL why wait til dawn, fires an expired burger king voucher at youBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Morning everyone!
3dogs-Really hope Mr3dogs gets better soon, loads of hugs to you!
I can't believe my wombled reciept gave me £1!!!:j
Got loads of comforts still left to buy so will use it with that!
I don't think somebody has answered this, but is it a good idea to put wombled pints from a reciept paid by card to your CC?
TIA:)
Where are you wombling pints from?:eek:0 -

This is what i am saying we have to weigh up what we do in different Tesos,Many a time i have had to let things go because i dont want to be highlighted in my local Tesos .But the worst that can happen would be a ban.But for OP this could have effects on her job and any future jobs.0 -
French_Knickers wrote: »Yes but this relies on the premise that people actually give a flying banana about getting store bans. I don't.....the only thing that surprises me is that I've not had one yet! :rotfl:
Its like a badge of honour...like an ASBO...."I have a Tesco store ban".... **said with nose flung in the air**
A store ban wouldn't be too terrible for me, because whilst I don't have any store very close, I have several between home & work. If one banned me I would plenty of other choices.
However, for people with only one local store I can see it would be a right pain!0 -

I do remember you as a contributor on various threads of T's in the past.
Peoples perception of saving money is different to others.
In the case of JTD you can view it as:
a) Not being able to shop at A's, so by shopping in T's using JTD, you can receive the same savings as shoppers in A's could get, even though you don't shop there. This then gives T's shoppers a reduction on the price of the item they bought, saving them money.
b) You could shop at the shop that gives you the best value in the place. However, not all can get to the chain with the best offer on that product.
I agree, I can't shop at A's because they are so bloomin' difficult to get to by public transport yet my local T's is a 10 minute walk away.0 -
caught doing what thought, i never actually brought the phones and i was never in the shop when he brought them.
i took the phone back and the recepit was thrown in the bin
what can they go on really??
Your bin or theirs? It could have been retrived after you had left if suspicions had been aroused.0
