Sorry but thats just way too harsh. SHE hasn't been caught doing anything.
This could be any other customer and nobody would point the finger at her. The only reason a finger is being pointed is because she knows the customer. Unless there is some evidence that she was actively had knowledge of what the customer did (according to her posts her only involvement was trying to clear up his mess and theres no know proof of that unless T's have footage of her returning the item) then they have nothing on her.0 -

Also I would immediately put in a written request for a short adjournment to fridays meeting, to allow you sufficient time to have representation, union or otherwise, present.
And also ask for a agenda for the meeting, so that you have more of an idea of what exactly they intend to say.
Then if at the meeting, things come to light that you need to discuss further with your rep. Agree in advance with your rep, that they will seek a further adjournment or time out from the meeting, for you too discuss matters that have come to light.
If you choose to attend your meeting on friday with no representation, then i'm afraid, they will probably wipe the floor with you.
I agree with Fudge that you should ask for a postponement and also deffo have a witness with you. If in doubt, say nothing. Honesty is best policy as if you do tell lies, it will get tangled up and make it worse than it already is.
An outcome does not have to be decided at the next mtg, sometimes it's best to come away from it and stew it over properly without being pushed into a corner for a hasty response that you may regret later..Tiger

Couple of peeps have said they are looking for cheap baby stuff. There is a Boots glitch on a small number of baby/childrens items where the items are half price and also on 3 for 2. In Boots terms, that means you get 3 for 1 and at the half-price amount, because they discount the third item at the 100% price. No idea if they are bargains say relative to buying in T, but may be worth a look

Pistols at dawn!
Actually I'd add an addendum to my comments. Knowing what a customer was doing wouldn't be enough either as its not illegal. The only problem is if he was doing it with her express consent so SHE could gain financially from it.
I do think they were stupid doing DTD's in the store she works in though. I don't even do them in my own local.....I appreciate my whoopsies too much to risk a store ban in my local.0
