Evening everyone.
Few pages behind at the moment, due to my computer problems and other stuff, but for those of you that were looking at the Keter shelves earlier. There is a few more cheap Keter storage items too. Just enter the code near the top of the page for 50% off these four items.
http://direct.tesco.com/promo/?id=S00032980
Although I did notice that if you put more than one item in your basket, it only seemed to take 50% off the most expensive item?
If you buy each thing seperately, then you get 50% off each, IYSWIMA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0 -

And customers who don't know about dtd routinely get refunded the difference only.
Thats exactly what they are like at my local, I have had all sorts of reasons why they can't to DTD, I have heard them tell other shoppers it was JTD and when they have gone to check the SEL I have taken great pleasure in pointing out the policy behind the counter.
It happened to me before I knew about this site and the DTD policy I was overcharged £45 for a set of kitchen scales :eek:, didn't know any better and accepted the difference. CS staff must have been laughing. :mad:If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

On the down side I somehow managed to get overcharged for 3 ink cartridges when there were huge banners in place saying 3 for 2 and I got charged for all 3. Went to CS and showed her where I had picked them up, she took the banners down and spoke to the Manager. Then preceded to tell me that she would only be able to honour the offer and was not able to give me DTD. I asked why and she said the SEL was correct, well it would be wouldn't it the offer was 3 for 2 so the price on the SEL would not have altered. She refused again and offered to refund me the whole amount. I asked if HO would agree with what she said. Refused the refund and said I would be ringing them in the morning. I have since tried calling the store but they won't answer the phone. Now do I go back into the store and ask to speak to the Manager directly and ask for the DTD and risk 'exposing' myself (ooh er) or call HO and ask them to send me the difference. I then have a clean receipt! - Any suggestions???
I am getting a bit fed up with my store they really don't have any idea about their own DTD policy it is a fight every time, not a good feeling tbh.
Your going to get banned if you keep at it in that store, just saying.madmuppet5 wrote: »A very good evening to you all
Just logged on to SSM to find out that I've been banned for inappropriate behaviour:eek:
Not wishing to prejudge I had already printed off my MOC's;)
However, I feel it's only fair to rob Tescos. Therefore Mad will make another facebook account under the name;

Mrs T. RoutI would ring HO tomorrow, then next time you go into your store make sure you wave your shiny new giftcard under trout's nose on the way!;)
Oh and then return the ink cartridges with your golden receipt!
Both sure fire ways to provoke an make it even harder for the next person, as was saying about staying under radar...
Right enough of me being serious, where is the busty barmaid ? Pint please and a round for the regular rabble, and if people could keep their thumbs to themselves pleaseBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Fair point Frequent, that's why I didn't go back to challenge the Manager and will just call HO tomorrow and see what they say.
Just a point to mention though I haven't had many DTD at the store I think its about 3 in total. I said to my OH I think I had better lie low for a while and stick to whoopsies at this one.If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

Oh, just remembered something. The other day I saw a SA with a shelved trolley removing sun creams from the shelf. It was Piz Buin and they all had the yellow reduced stickers on them, marked down to £1something. I wanted one, but she said, 'Oh no, those are not for sale. We're taking them out back.' When I asked why, she said they were out of date old stock and can't be sold.
Tonight I had a browse in that section and what did I find but the same bottles of Piz Buin, marked at £8+ on the shelf, with the remnants of badly removed yellow stickers on the back!!:mad:0 -

Ohhhhhh I'm soooo tired but just want to share a little Sainsbury's "glitch"(?)
At the moment they have 25% all clothing and accessories (inc shoes). I got 6 pairs of kiddies sandals/shoes/boots for £19.50 ... and paid for them all with Nectar points (still have £125 left to spend).
Anyhow ... they have croc style sandals for LOs £7 each or 2 for £10. I got 2 pairs (1 x girl, 1 x boy) and the discount didn't come off.
So I was charged £7 - £1.75 = £5.25 each a total of £10.50 rather than £10 - £2.50 = £7.50 ... what a shame they don't do DTD.
Anyhow, I got a £3 cash refund eventhough I paid in Nectar points ... and I have a golden receipt ... and they don't fit
Oh ... and the cherry duvet set I didn't buy yesterday is loverly :rotfl:0 -
Popped into sainsbobs earlier and noticed packs of pedigree schmackos @ 10p each on a clip strip, I picked up 8 pks even though I don't have a dog :rotfl:
Also their own brand tea bags were 30p for 80
