It's amazing how much you learn just by earwigging what's going on around you....I've always wondered why they put those blue metal chairs just as you leave the checkout and now I know!
Next time I go to Mr T's I'm taking sandwiches and I'm going to sit there "reading the paper" and wait for people to be overcharged and run and grab what they bought!:D:D
In other "news", a poor day for me today, 5 T's and not one DTD:(, one lonely flypaper on a clipstrip so I saved it, got quite bored in the end seeing the same deals not ending for AGES, I know printers and wine end today but I got a printer on Sunday and I don't drink lol!
There was a Waynetta Slob type "woman"in one store banging on about how Poundland sell stuff loads cheaper, no love, if you play your cards right Mr T will give you things for free!
Today Mr T 1 - Smart1e nil points and not even a row with a jobsworth...:(
Must try harder!!!!

For those struggling to use more than one coupon that you got from Mission Control go to the SSM website and print off the coupons there again if you can. The febreeze, Lenor and Ariel coupons from the SSM website have different barcodes which allowed me use one from MC and one from SSM on each item.
I also noticed that the coupons from SSM have two different Fairy options, one for WUL and the other for laundry stuff, I was able to use one each of these on my Ariel liquitabs plus a 3rd Ariel printed from SSM. That resulted in 33 washes for £3, my 2 cans of Febreeze were free as were my 2 Lenor.
I really hope laundry detergent doesn't go off because at the rate I use the stuff I've literally got enough to last me a lifetime.0 -
Well I have had an eventful visit to my local T's, on the plus side I had managed to time it right for the last reductions and had some great whoopsies, a total of £58.00 for £8.00, which included a joint of pork reduced from £14.50 to £2.50
On the down side I somehow managed to get overcharged for 3 ink cartridges when there were huge banners in place saying 3 for 2 and I got charged for all 3. Went to CS and showed her where I had picked them up, she took the banners down and spoke to the Manager. Then preceded to tell me that she would only be able to honour the offer and was not able to give me DTD. I asked why and she said the SEL was correct, well it would be wouldn't it the offer was 3 for 2 so the price on the SEL would not have altered. She refused again and offered to refund me the whole amount. I asked if HO would agree with what she said. Refused the refund and said I would be ringing them in the morning. I have since tried calling the store but they won't answer the phone. Now do I go back into the store and ask to speak to the Manager directly and ask for the DTD and risk 'exposing' myself (ooh er) or call HO and ask them to send me the difference. I then have a clean receipt! - Any suggestions???
I am getting a bit fed up with my store they really don't have any idea about their own DTD policy it is a fight every time, not a good feeling tbh.If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

lol HC, not sure that would help Lloyd but would be alot of fun.
FWIW Mr T is not immune here in terms of lower downs telling uppers fibs.
About 5 years ago I phone in an order to my advisory stock broker, to buy 10,000 shares in a small oil expo that was looking good. Order was confirmed on the phone.
5 days later the share price went from 20p to 29p, sent in order to sell shares, only to find out shares hadn't been purchased in the 1st place.
The price had moved up a single penny after i'd placed order, so instead of the staff calling me to adjust order they just left it unfilled.
Decided to make inquiry via FSA, as to how to proceed and did so.
Staff told me a pack of lies about it including "we don't record calls".
Once calmed and recomposed, contacted compliance manager via email, to cut out the barrier between the phone team and the head honcho.
Two hours later got a call back from chief compliance officer.
" Really sorry about that, it seems the staff were not forthright with me in this instance, I have paid the profit from your trade straight into your account, 1 of the staff was disciplined and the other dismissed, can I offer you my unreserved apology."
Fight your corner by all means, but in terms of staying under the radar with Mr T...Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

I'm on there again, some comments really are funny! Voting for familiar names I come across along the way.
If anyone happens to see the Tricity breadmaker as an avatar on SSM in the 'Family and Friends' section, could you favourite a post pretty please? I'm itching to get that last sticker...want to see if it's possible as it says I need to be someone's favourite in that category still.0 -
