Well I have had an eventful visit to my local T's, on the plus side I had managed to time it right for the last reductions and had some great whoopsies, a total of £58.00 for £8.00, which included a joint of pork reduced from £14.50 to £2.50 :)

On the down side I somehow managed to get overcharged for 3 ink cartridges when there were huge banners in place saying 3 for 2 and I got charged for all 3 :(. Went to CS and showed her where I had picked them up, she took the banners down and spoke to the Manager. Then preceded to tell me that she would only be able to honour the offer and was not able to give me DTD. I asked why and she said the SEL was correct, well it would be wouldn't it the offer was 3 for 2 so the price on the SEL would not have altered. She refused again and offered to refund me the whole amount. I asked if HO would agree with what she said. Refused the refund and said I would be ringing them in the morning. I have since tried calling the store but they won't answer the phone. Now do I go back into the store and ask to speak to the Manager directly and ask for the DTD and risk 'exposing' myself (ooh er) or call HO and ask them to send me the difference. I then have a clean receipt! - Any suggestions???
I am getting a bit fed up with my store they really don't have any idea about their own DTD policy it is a fight every time, not a good feeling tbh.

I would ring HO tomorrow, then next time you go into your store make sure you wave your shiny new giftcard under trout's nose on the way!;)

Oh and then return the ink cartridges with your golden receipt!

Popped into sainsbobs earlier and noticed packs of pedigree schmackos @ 10p each on a clip strip, I picked up 8 pks even though I don't have a dog :rotfl:

Also their own brand tea bags were 30p for 80
    :(
  • Are we ok to print a second one? I know they have different bar codes at the top, but seem to remember someone on here a few days ago saying not to. My printer has a mind of it's own and literally jams loads of paper or else won't take the paper at all and SSM thinks it's already been printed and it hasn't. On a couple of occasions it has printed twice, would these be ok to use? TIA :)

Yes you can use the vouchers, if you look at them they have a different bar code in the top righthand corner, so you can tell the cashier that they are not photocopies.
I also have had the same problem tonight, whereby I was able to print out the coupon twice when I won a reward yesterday, but now I can only print it out once. It was good while it lasted!

Thanks, must admit by the time I got home I was all for turning round and going back in again but then I thought better of it, I think calling HO tomorrow and seeing what response I get from them will be a better option and as you said maybe I don't actually need 3 cartridges anyway;)

It's like that all over Glasgow. At first I thought CS was clueless, but experience and observation has taught me it's slyness and being done on purpose. A different excuse every time, the one more ridiculous than the next, when the policy really is quite straightforward! No tactic too underhanded. And customers who don't know about dtd routinely get refunded the difference only. very-unhappy-035.gif

Your giftcard for the DTD should cover the cost of two of them so you get 3 for 1, or if it was me I would return one then you get 2 for nothing lol....she shouldn't have trouted you!!!:D

Actually if it was me I would claim the giftcard from HO then return them all and be up on the deal but that's just me and I am naughty;)

I may well have said anything to be fair so thought I had better look, either way I am impressed with it so far :j

    :rotfl::rotfl: So which is it?

You'll find with Mac OS when you open windows they will open at a size apple deems enough to fit everything in, sometimes this doesn't work and you can adjust them. Once adjusted they should stay the size you set them too. I mean why browse the net on a small window when you can make it fill the whole screen.

Dcon_blue thank you for your post about the Pampers nappies, I forgot to say thanks in my post last night but I was very greatful as I got 2 free!

Went to visit a friend today who had a gorgeous little boy on saturday...he has so much hair!! There is a T's near her so thought it would be rude not to go in for a loaf of bread/milk/eggs. I only went and found the Ambre Solaire suncream white SEL £3.32 but scanned £12.21, 3 may have slipped into my trolly!! Bought lots more things with coupons to 'hide' the overcharge, result was shopping free and £3 in my pocket. Forget it compares with A so will have ruined the JTD with the other things I bought but can't be too greedy:p:p

So thanks to sorryaboutmy wife for the fab find:beer: it's factor50+ too so perfect for LO at my friend's wedding in Spain later in the year!
