I noticed that on my washing machine when it was still quite new, funnily enough it was after a very hot wash (not very MSE but did the job with some horrible towels!!), can't be sure if it was like that before or not. Absolutely no problem though.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
  • Got the EDF energy team here today putting in my FREE cavity wall and loft insulation. Not even an EDF customer! I usually believe in the mantra that you don't get anything for nothing, but this time it really is FREE. I know it is being done at the back end of winter but I couldn't afford to get it done before - I am so looking forward to a warmer house and hopefully lower gas bills too.

Thank you MSE - got the tip from the weekly newsletter before Christmas, but don't know if it is still going.

I can't believe it  I have actually caught up with you all :j :j It took a lot of doing but I just kept plodding on, ignoring the SSM coupons on the way   Glad lots of you did so well on them and I may have a go if I have time tomorrow

Many thanks MKS - we have the TV on in her room during the day. when I am there, I always sing, and sometimes dance :o, along to the advert jingles, theme tunes and, twice a day, all the songs on Heartbeat and Mam always has a giggle about that :D :j

Mam was ok again today with no more bleeding :j She is tired and weak but chatting away and eating happily :D

Mr 3Dogs wasn't too good this morning but better this afternoon. I told him to ring NHS HelpLine but he wouldn't  Actually, the main problem seems to be wind  ............ trapped wind after the op and as soon as he can release the wind ;);) the pain eases :DHe is going to get the bus into town tomorrow to pick up his normal meds I ordered online for him, so he is going to ask to see a nurse while he is there :D

I am really missing posting in actual time with you all :( but enjoy reading all your posts to find out what you are all up to and what sillies Mr T has done that day :rotfl: :rotfl: It is my way to 'unwind' after spending time down with Mam :A

    Brave girl, dancing.

Has Mr 3Dogs tried good, old fashioned Bicarb of soda for his 'wind problem'?

If I was you I would pick up the oral-b ones which are half price in Tesco. Half price at £1.24 using a coupon, only 24p a tube:T
