You are a bit late getting shorts out. My mum's postie had his on all winter :D
  • Does anyone here know much about washing machines?

Just noticed that the big round rubber seal inside the door looks all bent out of shape. The door still closes OK and the machine seems to work alright - should I be worried?

My lodger used the machine earlier this evening and it made a lot of noise when it started spinning which made me concerned that perhaps she had put too much in at one time and the machine may have been damaged.

sounds like it had an uneven load while spinning, and may have dislodged the rubber seal.
just try and gently refit the seal to the body of the machine. you should be able to feel where it should be by starting at a bit that looks ok.

I felt all around the edges but everything seems to be in place but it still looks all wonky - any suggestions?

  • I have been in shorts for the last few weeks but only in the house, having a great big baby belly makes short much more comfortable, the only time i wear trousers is when i have to go out.
