I've been on my diet 3 wks now, I get 12wks free at Slimming World and free exercise class every week too on a scheme called Lose Weight Feel Great. Not sure if it's a national thing but if your BMI is over 25 you qualify. This is great for me cause with a household income of £124pw maternity pay we are struggling!
So far I've lost: Wk one 4 1/2lb, Wk two 2lb, Wk three 4 1/2lb :j :j

Catching up on posts from yesterday (and Friday) as still haven't read a huge chunk of posts.
Just want to say - thank you west is best, as well, for letting us all know about ssm mission control over here:T
I have added a few more stickers to my total but not really liking the Boots ones* - is it just me? Not sure I will find anything cheap enough to use them on.
*The ones I have are for Max factor, Olay, Venus and Nice and Easy.0 -

Morning everyone
I was just reading all the posts about training people in our ways and realised the best people I train are my children. They regularly go to MrM or MrT to spend their pocket money. The first thing they check are the reduced sections. They never spend their money on anything that is full price, if they want a game they wait until it comes down in price. They check cinema listings and then ask if I will buy the film they want when it comes out on dvd as its cheaper than seeing it at the cinema:money:
I think that at 13 and 11 they are learning life skills that will be of great benefit when they eventually move out. If friends take the mick because they didn't buy a game the day it came out they laugh and say yes but I could get two for the price you paid for one:j
Sorry for waffling have a good day everyone.0 -
I too have trained, one of my children, and she is a more regular poster here than me now.
I managed to hook her in the the golden days of DTD.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

I have just been to tesco and used my vouchers from mission control - as it doesnt state on the coupon one coupon per item (it does on the sainsburys one) I used several coupons per product, I explained it to the till person who was a compliance manager, and he had no problem at all with this, he was really lovely.
So I got: £24.88 of shopping down to £2.88 :-)
If he had said he couldn't of accepted more than one coupon per item I would not have argued, but he was more than happy for me to do this.
I went shopping on Friday and had 18 coupons for 18 items, my receipt had to be saved and i was passed onto a till with a hand scanner as the coupons would not scan.
She didnt read the receipt properly and initially said she could only accept 1 coupon as I had to actually buy the item.
I asked when policy had changed as I had bought some the previous week and she said Oh a while ago now.
I then realised she though I had only bought 1 comfort and was wanting loads off the rest of my shop as they had been put through as 9x Persil etc and not individually, so I explained this to her to which she apologised and accepted them all.
So personally I would only be confident using 1 coupon per item bought.0 -
