Can we have a list to see if we can take over from those right handers
Left handed- Snap-ant
Right Handed- Fourp

Rights, Lefties are reportedly more creative so will no doubt be too busy at T's trying to work out JTDs, DTDs or glitches to reply :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

p.s.. morning everyoneYou can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

I was overcharged yesterday on a book and got JTD back at the CS desk. SEL expired more than a week ago. I was told DTD doesn't cover OOD SELs which goes against what most of you say on here. If it hadn't been for the advice on this site I would have accepted that but I decided to take it further because I knew better
Contacted CS looking for the other half of my DTD but didn't get it as was told the same thing by them on the phone. Grrrr
Buuuuut I kept calm, polite and stood my ground and before I knew it I was told I was getting a £10 gift card sent out to me because of the inconvenience and because they agreed they really should have noticed the error in that timeframe and removed the SEL.
Whilst I was on the line they asked me if there was anything else they could help with and something popped into my head that i would never have taken the time to call up and complain about on its own
I told them how my local Express store NEVER gives out green clubcard points for bag re-use and that I get annoyed having to prompt them every time. Got 200 points added to my account by way of apology
I only phoned up looking for a £1.80 refund and ended up with £12 with minimum fuss. I was also phoning from my mobile as my landline is on the blink at the moment but they very kindly agreed to call me back so I only have to pay for the first couple of mins at 14p/min
I am well chuffed and already planning what to spend the gift card on. Packs of nappies are reduced from £6.49 to £3.24 right now so I'm hoping gift card comes quick. I am planning to get 4 packs for £12.96 then use 2x£1 MOCs and the £10 giftcard. So four packs of nappies for 96p
I am well chuffed.
(haha, whilst typing this I have been watching the Pink Panther Show on BBC2 with DD and the Panther just fell out with an SA in a bait shop who tried selling him 5 worms despite a sign saying "6 worms for 25c". Good to see they teach this stuff at such an early age!)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

i always use my kids library cards, our local don't fine kids even if it's weeks overdue (which is usually the case for me)
most libraries renew over the internet too-you should look into setting up?
I do that with the local one as well, its just these ones were from the library on uni campus. i usually get an email a couple days before telling me to renew online but this time i forgot to do it.:(0 -

I can't believe the same thing happened 2 days in a row. Yesterday I was woken up by some idiot honking his horn outside, this morning it was a van playing some comedic horn and recorded message that I could not understand belting out with all their windows undone promoting something or other. I thought it was the Wookey Hole van because I often see that around (though never specifically where I live before) but this was a plain white van?!:mad:
Bet there were some very angry parents what with half term potential lie ins being ruined!!!
Hmmmph I just about feel ready for another snooze now. May have a cat nap this afternoon....in preparation for the pub tonight :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::p
Hope all is well
Oh and just one quick T's question. Was eagerly awaiting my CC statement for the vouchers and I have none?! I mean I have the actual clubcard vouchers but none of the 'buy x product save 50p' etc etc....have they done away with them or is it just me??'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: That's made me chuckle!!
This had been the longest coffee break ever!Back to h/work or I'll have another day like yesterday.0 -

Morning everyone,
The other day someone kindly posted a link to the detol spray voucher for 50p I have gone back through 50 pages and cant find it(old age knocking in) if anyone knows where to get the voucher and the one for comfort pure I would be very grateful.
Hope everyone is having a good day.
My local Tesco's dont seem to be reducing the goods as early as they use to and sometimes it is only pennies. Guess I might have been at the store on the wrong day.
I don't know if it will help but Morrissons are doing 1.5kg of spuds for 30p as well as 4 apples and carrots and swede and onions all for 30p. I think the offer finishes on Sunday0
