  • When I was in T's earlier I noticed that the 4 pack of Branston beans are half price. Were £2.55 now £1.28.

I don't think so. T€sco Ireland work their own system. A !uro system. The pricing structure is very different. We are massively overcharged for groceries in general here. There are only a handful of national supermarkets that have it really good, T!sco only arrived here about 10 years ago and shook things up a little. But instead of offering true value they align themselves with the other thieving ba8tards and are happy to make massive margins.

They make higher margins here than almost anywhere they trade worldwide. It sucks. ok rant over.

So that is why i lurk and learn, please forgive me that i can contribute little.

So, many of the offers are similar, ie The Big Clean thing, but pricing is aligned to our rubbish competition.

Careful! I got sent to MSE Jail for that.

Bought a new printer, HP 3050A I think, it's still in the box waiting for me to research online how good the reviews are on it if not too good will be returning it.
Hoping it's good because the security guard couldn't be bothered taking the security tag out of the box as I was leaving, he just checked the reciept and walked me to the escalator and let me go.
Couldn't be bothered explainig this to SA in my local so would have to return it to the original store and not up that way often.

Well it's been a log day so

    Goodnight all!
Hi i got this printer for my son to use at uni..
When I went to visit him I decided to use his computer to printout a coupon and the quality of the print was not good at all..even though they are the original cartridges.. I compared the printed coupon with the one I had printed off at home on my hp f4280..
  • If anyone has an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and you use iMessage and you also have a Mac iMessage can be downloaded for it from the link on this page.

(Sis, I've got the installation file here so no need to download it)

Those boxes were indeed £5 a couple of weeks ago at the end of the baby event. I know because my fab parents drove to 2 Asdas to get me 6 boxes for £30. Could be tempted myself at £4 :rotfl:

I was just checking Google maps to see how far it would take to make a run for the border! I had a look on the Ts website to confirm my suspicions earlier. There are indeed no Ts on the Ards Peninsula south of Ards itself. Madness!

I'm using it and it's fab hon. Printer is sitting in the corner, plugged in, turn on, paper ready to go so when I need to print a MOC (usually just as I'm about to head out the door), no need to find cables or put paper in - just print wirelessly! The cartridges are pretty cheap as well if you look in the right places. Will drop you a PM about them (totally legit, not a Nutts Corner job :D)

Hey caz, you wouldnt happen to be in NI would you lol? Nutts corner, am there regularly!!!! Got the same printer but soon gonna be needing Ink, Any suggestions would be great! :p

  • I don't really want to go but sis want's to go as my +1, hereafter referred to as 'Designated Driver' as it's also the breweries 5th birthday celebration so it's going to be an AGM come pee up.:beer:

Designated driver - I don't think so. Looks like it's the bus then.

    Hugs to 3dogs.

    Morning
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I agree , great printer. Mine ran out of colour ink so wouldn't print so I just took out the colour cartridge and now it still prints but just in black. Got more ink but will wait till black runs out before replacing.
If your on about getting the ink direct ;) then I'm not sure that works anymore as my last order was cancelled, along with others from hukd. :(

My ink came a few weeks ago with the free photo paper but i ordered it a matter of mins after being posted on hukd. HP also honoured an order i placed before crimbo for some dirt cheap touch pad cases. They took ages to arrive as they went oos but got an email of apology and anew edt.
Not sure that something posted on hukd's needs cloaks and daggers! Share and share alike:cool:
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
