think our local sains was robbed in the night Dh said it was cordoned off with police tape at 7am this morning loads of police cars and vans about.guy in paper shop siad hed been told it was like that fromabout midnight. they shut at 11 so maybe someone tried to grab the takings. i hope no one was hurt and the scum get caught. will nip dowen shops later to see what i can find out

I forgot to say, my gay neighbour returned less than a week after his departure to live with his 'boyfriend'. He's obviously getting too comfortable in his flat because the whole street can hear his music. I wouldn't mind so much as his music taste is the same is mine but I wish he would let the whole song play through rather than skipping to the next one two thirds of the way through.:(

Just had a look at the new layout.

not as bad as I thought but a couple of comments for redfox to pass on if they wish.

1. Why is it so narrow? Seems a lot of wasted space on my screen.

2. By putting all the info at the top of posts rather than to the left, the thread looks less discussion like and more like a jumble of posts.

Just my tuppence worth anyway.
