Hi all
My pals are geting married this year in Antigua. so pretty expensive for the 20guests.
I'm bridesmaid and they want to have a combined stagg and hen in august this year. AKA a hag party, apparently.
I've never heard of this before!!! But am obliged to come up with suggestions to suit all bugets and ages!
Guests will include a combo of couples and singles and parents! (Well 2 parents, both the wedding couples mums, who are chalk and cheese?!?) Age range of 28 to 55 and one very grown up 8yr old, the bride to be's daughter.
I've said that another trip abroad was too much to ask due to expense and time off work. They wanted to go to dubrovnik where they met.
Both would be mortified at the thought of traditional style !!!! up prank playing, strippers, dressed up in veil and L plates, stripped bound to a lampost type night. They now do everything together (arh bless!)
But, they do like a drink and are a fun couple:T
I've suggested the edinburgh fringe festival, by train for 1 maybe 2 nights, I think it's a great Idea, but it was met with just a luke warm reception.
Anyone done this hag thing before? or been on one? any suggestions very much appreciated as i feel somewhat responsible for the organising:rolleyes:
Much thanks in advance.
