Aggressive deleveraging is why America's growth is starting to rise rapidly, while the UK will be going nowhere until 2020.

As your mortgage obligation end as soon as you hand in the keys, it makes sense to walk away in USA

Great: neo-Marxist broadcasting organisation delivers (yet another) sanctimonious verdict on its most favoured hate object.

    I can hardly wait.

Yes absolutely 100% correct, you only have to hear about the Merlin project on the news, they exceeded the spending target by £26m yet the BBC opened with 'one billion short fall for SMSE failing to mention that it actually lent £74.5 Billion missing the target by less than 2%

BBC news is now very one (left wing) sided.

USA was built on self sufficiency and survival of the fittest. Many there see it as a good thing.

It is a good thing, however there must be a clear pathway for poor folk to move out of poverty through education.

Britain had a terrible homeless problem until not that long ago. Many of the organisations that tackled it have had their budgets wiped out by the tories, it'll happen again in the UK too.

Not as bad as our secretary used to think though! One of the guys in the office lived in such a messy flat in central London we knicknamed it 'cardboard city' and we used to be always saying we stayed in cardboard city last night. At the Xmas party she asked me how I managed to sleep in such cold conditions and still make it into the office and do a days work (oops!). I couldn't believe that she actually thought we routinely slept rough about twice a month.

OK, sorry this is really depressing. People have life threatening illnesses that they can't treat or do anything about because they can't afford the bill.
