What great news. Thank you Martin.
The CAB provide such a valuable service and, like all organisations supported by volunteers, a little goes an awfully long way.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Just a drop in the ocean compared to the money these companies make - some of them are making up to £20 million a year according to the BBC. Any legal costs like this are just seen as a 'cost of doing business' to unethical companies like them."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

Excellent decision to give the surplus to CAB.0

Maybe they've recently changed their name, but either way, they really don't look like they are trying to rip off MSE. Their site looks completely different for a start. Plus "Money Expert" is a pretty generic name.
It's not their website that is misleading, they send emails which, while they don't actually copy the MSE emails, if you weren't paying attention, might be mistaken for MSE emails.
I agree they are not overtly exploiting the similarity, but I am sure it doesn't hurt them.0 -

The judge held that the evidence suggested that the defendant had indeed exploited MSE's name.
