Breakdown cover renewal - Comparison sites

Had renewal for breakdown cover through Brittannia £110.00 for 2 cars, home start / onward travel, etc, wondering if I can get it cheaper through comparison sites, anyone know which comparison sites offer a quote for 2 cars, most seem to only offer quote for 1 car.

  • Have you tried cashback sites you might find it cheaper to do single policys then multi.
  • No, I don't buy online that often.

Home start, breakdown, onward travel etc £38 covers you and partner for any car you are driving.

Have you any Tesco Clubcard points?

You can use them on RAC subscriptions.

Never had to use Auto Aid thankfully, but at £38 a year for both cars with home start it's a steal.

Don't go for policies that cover the car. Go for policies that cover the person. That way you're covered in any car you're in whether or not you are driving it.

I get AA recovery with Home Start for free with any service from my Ford dealership.

    Ditto.

Try German ADAC. Their Plus membership is €79 (that's around £70) per person or €98 (around £88) for a couple (Partner Plus). It is a Europe-wide cover with home start, onward travel, etc. (anything to do with a breakdown or accident including ambulances, repatriation, medical, hotel & recovery costs for you & your family). No car age restriction, and the only restriction is the vehicle gross weight (must be under 6 tonnes).

In the UK they send out the AA mechanics.

Not much good if my brother is driving the car alone though....
