Can anyone remember how much are daffodil bulbs in Wilko?

Options
I have not bought any for about 5 years, used to get 10 daffodil bulbs for 99p and £1.49 for the dwarf varieties, I think. I am just trying to decide whether to order some well in advance from a website where prices are quite a bit higher, so wondered if Wilkinsons bulbs have gone up much the last few years?

Oh, and how much are their tulip bulbs? Think it used to be £1.99 for 10, but websites now seem to charge about £6 for 10!
  • 5 for £1.75 for both daff and tulips at wilko's. When Lidl had them in the price last year 5 kilo bag of daff bulbs for £5.00 think it was the same price for the tulips. Also poundland is very good and cheap for bulbs.
    I would like to be a glow-worm.
    A glow-worm's never glum.
Its hard to be downhearted when the sun shines out your bum.
  • Thanks Bunnygirl, they have gone up quite a bit then. Actually just remembered last time I bought tulips at Wilko most of them came up the wrong colour! So think I will buy online, I know if they are the wrong variety again I only have to send an email, if it means going to Wilkos customer service desk instore, I will probably never do it. I should have said, I am after certain varieties, not the larger mixed bags. Didn't know Lidl sold bulbs though.

You are far better off to visit the local market, they are £1 for 20 in many varieties in our town.

But The best way of doing it is wait, wait un till they are going out of season in Nov/Dec, I've got full sacks for a tenner before, :money::money:. Ok a bit late to bloom the 1st year, but povided they are still firm, it's no issue.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
