Cleaning stainless steel

My fridge is stainless steel and it has all smears on it. Does anyone have any good tips on how to get these off? I've tried general household cleaners, window polish, water and just trying to buff them off with a cloth but none of these are working. Please help because this is driving me nuts!!!

I use astonish stainless steel cleaner on mine as well then wipe over with damp microfibre cloth - both from poundland!! works a treat!!!!!
