    hi all!,

i was one of the 1st lot to buy one of these cameras (i have it for a spare) and was just wondering, what is the cheapest place to purchase the batteries for them, my local shop was selling 1 for £8:eek: i've been on ebay to have a look but was just wondering what everyone has done when the battery goes...

i'd like to get a rechargeable battery & charger but haven't go a clue as to how much i should be expecting to pay etc... so if anyone can enlighten me i'd be very grateful

    cheers

Quidco is coming in at 5% plus another 5% a few months later so even cheaper!

Just in case anyone is not aware, there is also a Canon outlet on Ebay for refurbished items, full guarantee etc., and a range which covers cameras, video cameras, printers, etc., etc. Don't know how prices compare, but it's always an alternative, perhaps.

sm00chie - why not just use ordinary AA rechargeable batteries.
I purchased four AA 2500 batteries and a charger for mine so I can use two and have two spare.
I also bought the CX6445 first time round to - AA batteries work fine in it.
Argos sells a charger with four AA 2100 batteries for £9.99

Maybe worth checking out Ebuyer for Kodak refurbished cameras.
I was going to buy the Kodak C533 (refurbished)on the Kodak site for £53.99 inc delivery but decided to check Ebuyer. I got it from Ebuyer (refurbished grade A) for £37.70 inc delivery using the supersaver delivery and paying through Google checkout to save the £10 offer.
