I'm tempted to return my cx6445 as this has a type of joypad to aid controlling the functions.
I'm an idiot I've just spotted that mine does have a joypad! So on second thoughts the cx6445 looks better (my opinion) looks like it has a better quality lense, certainly longer (132mm v`s 102mm) greater overall zoom (15X v 12X)

Was considering the CX7430 at £29.99 but the lens sticking problem mentioned below puts me off.

I would advise caution as I ordered one of these in January and the screen failed. I then had to phone Kodak 10 times and wait almost two months to get my money back.
Having worked in the electronics industry for over 15 years I know that a refurbished/reworked product always has a 10x increased failure rate. Shame I didn't take my own advice really."Sometimes you're the owner, occassionally the dog, but mostly the tree....."0 -
I got the CX6445 but having used it quite a lot by now I do have to say it is no good.
I have it set on "best quality" but the pictures are still heavily compressed and tend to result in quite small files about 600KB. Picture quality is nothing like as good as my old Canon A70 which is only 3 megapixel, then again the files it saves are typically three or four times as big. What is the point of the camera trying to be frugal with space when SD cards are so cheap anyway.I ♥ MSE0 -
