I'm looking for a cheap digital camera for my son. he is, shall I put it carefully, at an age where he tends to forget how easy it is to lose things or damage things. I would therefore like something small enough to fit in his pocket, but cheap enough so I won't mind when he treats it badly.

I've seen the Kodak C310 and the CD40 on the kodak site for £24.99 and the reviews are Ok ish, not brilliant but about to be expected for a £25 camera. However, which one do I chose?

On the basis of looks my son has gone for the C310 and hopefully it will be here in time for him to get used to it before his geography field trip later next month.

It came in at £28.99 delivered and we went through Quidco for a little cashback, so that's better than trusting him with my camera!

Found this on Kodak's site, Refurbished Kodak Z700 4MP camera plus Printer Dock 3 for £59.98.
Sounds like a good deal to me.

I had to buy some disposables when my original digital one broke as i was going to a one of event - the disposables were £6.99 each (we had to get them at the airport so no choice!) add processing in and taking into account the ones that didnt come out it was VERY expensive. I bought a refurb camera of the kodak site (£30 inc del) and already it has 'made its money back' compared with disposables - and will do many times over in the warrenty period (i **think** they have a 6 month gurantee if i remember rightly) i use my digital alot not just for personal use but to take pics for work (i do alot of craft days for kids so i often take pics of the works they produce for our file to show other parents what the kids can achieve!!)
