You will find them Booood on that PPI Board. They have All got a bad Reputation because they take 30/50% of all they reclaim. and you dont need them - can do it yourself for cost of Recorded Delivery.
A neighbour that I am helping to Reclaim O/D PPI received a Text call on a Sunday at 7.30pm from one promising reclaiming £2840 but I know his Reclaim will only be £600 max - he deleted but some desperate people might have replied - but if reply then have to change their number to stop it.
Job 2 Does anyone on here think it might be good or bad for goldilockz to contact No.2 to ask if he had a chance of being shortlisted saying he really would like to work for them as permenant but had been offered another but Short Term and would prefer No.2 What do you all think ?
How soon have you got to sign No.1 Contract.
I am due to start job 1 on Wednesday and have my interview for job 2 tomorrow, so it's a bit of a tricky situation as I highly doubt I will hear back from job 2 before I start job 1. Has your neighbour contacted the Financial Ombudsman Service? It is highly likely what he is being offered is just to fob him off. Usually the first response from the bank is either a rejection or a measley offer, so it seems your neighbour is being offered a small amount in the hopes he will not reapply.
P.S. I'm a 'she'!0 -
Whats the notice for job 1?
Might be able to get in check it out and change your mind later.0 -

I'm not aware of what the notice period is for job 1. It's a bit of a mess really because we have all been really pressurised to stay for the full length of the contract (6 months) even though I've yet to sign anything. I imagine I won't hear from job 2 for at least a week (until they finish interviewing) and so I'm guessing I'll have signed the contract for job 1 by that point and will struggle to get out of it. Arg!0 -
Check the contract/particulars carefully for both yours and their notice.0

I will do. So far, they're being a bit shady with the contract. I have just received an email saying I am the only person not to have agreed to the terms and conditions of the contract yet and I must phone so-and-so to agree to this. However, I've searched my emails and have not been sent a contract or anything that resembles terms and conditions. I have emailed the woman to ask about this but there's no way I'll be signing or agreeing to anything I haven't seen.0 -
In the absence of written terms which state otherwise, the statutory notice provisions apply. For either party that would be no notice to be given in the first month of employment. Maybe not getting written terms would work to your advantage!0

Hi goldilockz
I'm a she too Snap
That was the amount for the Start Date we were then assuming was Jun 2007 but My Veeery Nice Lady in Barclays Dublin Investigation Dept has put a lot of hard work into tracing the Start Date and just today has found that it is in fact 13th Aug 2003 nearly double so £900 + which is £8 +8% =£8.64p x 91 months of Premiums. I am downloading the Claim Form in the next few days and need to get couple more details to fill. This will be the Initial Claim to the Bank and because he has strong case and small amount I dont anticipate any problems.
Incidently after I had concluded business I asked Mxxx if I could speak to her Supervisor - When I did I asked for Gold Stars Top Wack to be put on her Record because she had gone not just the extra mile but several miles as this was Old Style Customer Service which is rare nowadays
I will always hand out Gold Stars when really earned but also Barbed Wire ones when not. I hope you will likewise meet up with people like me that appreciate when that extra effort is made  Be carefull of that Contract even the small print, and if the extra NI isnt mentioned Ask Why Not, and you need black and white that this doesn't apply not verbal

Hi Silv,
So glad you had a good experience with the claim. And it's always lovely when a customer appreciates when you've gone out of your way for them, I bet you made her day! I am lingering on deciding not to go for job 1. There are several reasons for this. Number 1 is that I visited the site yesterday and it'll take me near enough 2 hours to get there in the morning. In addition, there appear to be some hidden charges that were not mentioned in the recruitment day and I will lose my holiday by taking this job. I know I'll make the money back but sometimes it's about more than the money. I am just hoping I am offered job 2...0 -

The e-education sector is a well paid industry anyway, if you have additional specialist knowledge around things like SAP, PPI, Salesforce you can command very lucrative day rates.0 -
Any News on Job 2 yet - We're all holding our breath

Have you still managed to avoid signing Contract No.10
