Windows 7 upgrade using an XP upgrade disc to verify during clean install.

When I did a clean install using XP upgrade on a formatted harddrive in the past, in the process a full version of Windows was asked to verify the XP upgrade, then I removed the full earlier version Windows 98 disc I had inserted and then it allowed the process to continue.

I looked on Youtube just now and got the answer. Thanks for your patience everyone and now I will dual boot it with my old favourite Ubuntu 10.10.
