Can Abbey Postal ISA top-ups be made via Standing Order or does it have to be done only via post? Answer much appreciated, cheers!

  • Yes you can make one off BACS payments and regular standing orders to an Abbey Postal ISA - I only made my initial credit by post, been on BACS ever since :rotfl:

Thanks for your reply jimclark1967. That's all good then. I thought everything had to be done via post. It's not very Postal after all. hehe. Cheers!

  • Yes, I don't know why they don't make it an Internet only ISA, surely wouldn't be too tricky.

I opened mine in May 2003, all my BACS payments have shown up on the statements. Am yet to attempt a withdrawal - expect this is where the "postal" bit is most applicable :o
