Name and shame a seller?

How do I name and shame a rogue seller?

Can I do it on this site to help people getting stung? It would be saving folk money after all ...

  • It depends. A lot of claims about rogue sellers have ended up being the buyer not actually reading what was on the screen in front of them when they've bid.

Isn't that what feedback left for a seller is for?

Yeah, but I've already fed back +vly while the new laptop battery was fine (for 1 day only!!) - it's now not fine and the seller isn't responding? Battery has been tested on 2 identical laptops, dead as a dodo on both. Other laptop's battery still works a treat on both.

    Suggestions? Thx.

How long since you paid for it?

Deal with it via the official channels. If the seller doesn't resolve the problem follow up your positive feedback with a comment stating the facts - that it stopped working after 1 day and the seller failed to resolve. Slagging on forums is pointless, sorry.

So open a Signigicantly Not As Described dispute and he will then have to refund you once you have sent the item back.

If you have only had it a day then open a snad, how long have you given the seller to respond, have you tried phoning them.
  • Seller finally responded and lied through his teeth about a new supplier. Refund when I return the item. Thx for replies.
