Which internet provider should I go for?

Hi,
Moving into a new flat with a friend at the end of the month, and am looking at different internet providers.
Was thinking about going with Sky, as phone line is £12.50 and then with 6 months free unlimited broadband (then £7.50) after. Plus can get money through a cashback site.
Is this good? any catches with this?
Any help would be great,
Thanks in advance

Broadband is exchange-specific, so do an exchange search on www.samknows.com to see what your LLU options are-these will be the best deals.
Sky LLU is OK, Sky Connect (non LLU) is not. That's why you need to get the samknows data.
Do you already have a working landline in the property? If not, you'll need to get that installed or reconnected before you can get any ADSL broadband service. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thanks for helping. I've had a look at the SamKnows site and gone through to their broadband comparison tool - was useful. I still think that I may as well go with Sky, as it's half price for 6 months and they'll reconnect the landline too (there is one at the flat but it's disconnected).
If anyone has any more tips that'd be great,
Thanks again0 -
Is it Sky LLU then? If not you will be on a resold BT Wholesale service (Sky Connect). No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Yes it says that Sky Broadband LLU is available0

You can go for airtel broadband and select the wi-fi option as it will give you and your friend separate speed and good speed with the same payment.0
