advice please

at the moment we have the full sky package with sky plus. we have ntl phone & boardband.

we are thinking of getting it all with sky but would need to change our phone line to bt first.

can we keep the same phone number with bt that we have with ntl.?

is sky boardband any better than ntl as up till now we have had no problems with ntl or sky just would like to keep costs down.

advice would be nice please

Yes you can port your number over to BT.

I assume your on ntl cable BB. You will be moving over to Sky ADSL. These are 2 different systems so your speeds could be faster or slower than what you have at the moment.

Use http://www.samknows.com/broadband/ as an idea of how far your from your exchange and what speeds you are likely to get. AFAIK the figures this site quotes are for 8meg BB not 16meg.

No one can tell you for sure how your sky service will perform, but can you say for certain how your current service will be next month?
