  • Sorry Kyle but that's what you were always going to get if you wasted your time trying to reason with the scammers. They are not interested in truth and justice, only in collecting your money. It stands to reason you cannot be fined for parking in your own parking bay, you do see that- don't you?

Don't waste any further time and effort on these MORONS.

    You can either: Totally ignore all further communication- after a set series of template letters they will get fed up and go away;

or, Write to your landlord/management agent and warn them that their agents UKCPS are subjecting you to unlawful harassment and that if it continues you will hold them, as the principal, equally liable with their appointed agent.

    Whatever.

The only thing you should NOT do is take a blind bit of notice of their utter nonsense. Even they must be thinking... "He can't be that dumb, can he?"

    Hi,

Just received this email after I initially sent an email to appeal. Can anyone advise on this nonsense? Notice there's no names, how convinient. I have had to remove the name of my residence for privacy reasons, hence the ..................

    "Good afternoon,

    Thank you for your email.

.................. car park is private land and there are many signs at the site which state this and the parking restrictions in force. By parking your vehicle you contractually agree to display a valid permit or pay a parking charge of £100 (reduced to £60 for early settlement within 14 days). As a permit holder it is your responsibility to ensure that your permit is correctly displayed in the vehicle. As you failed to display a parking permit you were correctly issued with a parking notice charge which will stand.

    Regards"

Thought you would have been expecting that by now - they would say that, wouldn't they? It changes nothing.:)

IGNORE THEM and look at the top sticky thread 'PPC letters & threats'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Who told you to 'appeal' and where is your lease copy?
  • Poor old Kyle, Alexis, he probably thought their appeal system was real and all he had to do was explain and they would understand.... Most people think that until they try it, to be fair.

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
  • Just received this........enjoy.

"We have noted your postings on Internet forum sites.
Your parking charge was correctly issued and will be supported by the Brewery Wharf management company. It is a lease requirement that permits are correctly displayed at all times.
If this charge is not paid in full by 9th march this is notice that court papers will be issued on 10th March 2012. Please take notice that no further communication will be entered into except to acknowledge any payment made. Please refer to ukcps.net/court.php

Kylledollan - please reply back asking for the full, unedited wording of the lease. Also forward the email to Brewery Wharf and ask them to comply.

Pete - please email back with the full wording of the lease. Any claim will just result in the request being made in the initial defence. It won't look good to ignore CPR rules and refuse to submit the information.
  • This Peter Haswell really IS stupid. He has just watched Parking Eye come hopelessly unstuck because they reacted to forum chat, and he wants to do the same? I withheld my decision until now, but he has just made it for me.

Word of advice Peter don't use Pannone, they will charge you a vast fee and you will recover nothing, there is not even any loss to the landowner at all here..

Follow Alexis' advice, Kyle. I don't think for an instant he's going to be stupid enough to actually issue, but maybe he's hot tempered and anger will overcome reason. If we are lucky.

A referral to the response in Arkell v Pressdram would be most appropriate at this stage, given the latest from Mr hasbeen.:D
