Erm, I think you are also missing the point of my initial post. If you have a lookie on the link you might just 'get it'.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

If there are no takers, it's overpriced.

Book price might not be an accurate guide to actual value, as a lot of people find out when they list a dress that cost them £35 new and only get £3 when it sells on eBay. Stubbornness is great in its own way but if you need to shift the car, and are getting all this interest, then lowering the price might help you get something out of all of this.

This isn't meant to be clever, but I've made the same mistake a few times, particularly when asked on auctions what my Buy It Now price was - it does happen. Be a man and lower the price slightly - at the end of the day you'll be better off than if you continue to stress over a lot of no shows.

My OH watches LOADS of cars. He watches the car type he'd like to buy (to see what they're selling for at hte moment), and the one he's currently got (to see what he might get for his). He has no intention of bidding.

Cars that do low MPG aren't selling too well at the moment.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • When I'm looking for cars or vans on ebay i tend to filter out the classified ads and look for the auctions because ebay is an auction site i wish ebay wouldn't do it but if they didn't then people would advertise on other sites like autotrader.
