I have found that the battery does go down a lot when you phone people! I was on the phone for about 30minutes and the battery is half gone!

Glad they sent me two batteries then! :)

I tried to order 5 phones (large family) and they cut me down to 2! My "Zopa" rating is over 500 so it looks like they are just being stingy... Will try again tomorrow and see I can get some more

I initially was going to give this a miss, I don't need another phone, and only use around £7 pcm. However 5*12 is 84.

The yearly cost here is just under £36, and I got another £12 c/b with another site, so cheap even if only use for a few months before I find a great offer for a A1000!

May be even better when selling the 616 on ebay..

The means that as long as I send for cashback (I forgot once, missed the deadline, tried sending it anyway to mobileshop and they refused. My fault... win some, loose some. I didn't adhere to T&Cs).

So I've seen a number of people posting about the E616. But it's a great deal even if you have an existing phone on 3 that is not contract, or is on 3togo.
What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots

    1) Do you think I could get this and change my current tel number to it in a couple of weeks ? Want to see if OK and book online.
    2) Or could I order online and then phone to get it before despatched. But get the extra £12 from linemypockets.
    3) Or just do it over the phone with PAC number and miss out on the £12 from linemypockets for ordering online with referral.

Yes you can change your number when you want. You just telephone the network you are with and ask foryour PAC code. This lasts for about 24 hours or something. All you do is phone 3 and give them your PAC code and thats it, number transferred!

You don't get Carphone Warehouse to do it as far as I know.

PAC code is valid for a couple of weeks, and you can bring your number onto 3 at any time in the contract - just call CS. You'll keep a seperate 'video-call' number, as you can't do this with a ported number.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but this now appears to be FREE!

There's also a Nokia 6230 with 200 mins and 200 texts for £1.99 per month.

Can you tell me where you saw this offer please - I can't find it at CPW. Also which provider it is with?

    Thanks

I got a £2.99 per month contract with Three in January.

I ported over my old number and recieved a video call to my ported number - I thought it wasn't going to work but it did!

  • Just a word of warning, i've had the nec 616 for the last year and it is an ok phone but has certain terrible factors, bluetooth is a mission to get to work, but the biggest gripe is the battery the big one lasts a day max... the little one is a waste of space!!

TBH i cant wait to ditch the phone!

Three's pretty good though, no real complaints!
