Hi, I had the same problem, kept checking, but it seems that I may not have qualified because I have a pop-up blocker on my pc! Anyone else found this problem?

I am new to this site and also new to bargain hunting, one of the first things

I have bought is the NEC E616 and I am pleased with it, however, I have had

£15.00 deducted from my bank account during the first month.

Is this correct? I thought I got the first 3 months free. Sorry in advance if

    this is a dumb question.

I'm glad I held out on this NEC deal.

Someone else on the board posted a link for a Nokia 6230 for £5 per month, 12 month contract (free phone) and 200 anytime minutes each month. Got my phone yesterday, over the moon.

Had I been stuck with the NEC one after seeing that I'd be gutted.

dont know how everyone is getting on with this phone. I was ok but have started getting electric shocks of the hand set. Does not hurt but when you put it to your ear it makes you jump. and twice I have dropped the phone luckily no damage.
But I rang CPW.no problem take it into a shop get a loan set and it will be repaired. Went into shop, told do not repair NEC phones 3 will not allow it?! Went into 3 shop, told to either send it away or go back to CPW. Rang CPW again, spoke CS repairs, then finally asked for a supervisor. I waited 16 minutes for a Supervisor to come to the phone. Told me he will get my local branch to get a loan set in and they will email me soonest. We will see, Watch this space!!
Oh and I never have had my £12.

I had probs with my 616 so eventually got exchange at CPW shop. Ended up having to go into three shops and also speak to CS 6/7 times to get it sorted. CS referred me to High Street shops for replacement, shops said "their system wouldnt allow a replacement as bought online" but to speak to CS!! Have now send stinking letter to CPW re apalling svc and await reply. Anyhow the one I have now seems ok, very average phone and over engineered in my opinion as it can do too much and doesnt do the basics very well.

Looks like atro1 has had similar issues with CS and the shops - communication correctly cascaded down (and sorting their awfully constrained computer system) are two major things CPW need to look into.

Oh and if you care to email Charles Dunstone (CEO and founder of CPW) via the website, you get a "email address does not exist" message back. Well if they say their own CEO doesnt exist that could be the root of all their problems...................

So I take it no-one has sent their fourth bill yet then??
  • Got my 4th bill about 10 days ago and have sent it off to them. Got a text message from CPW confirming receipt of claim and advising that will get the cheque back within 45 days.
