Hi,

I subscribed to this deal, and really like the phone. It is definitely on the chunky side, but it's nice to use and has some good features. The microphone on mine doesn't seem to have been wired in properly so no-one can hear me when I speak, so I planned for it to be picked up and another one delivered.

However I'm not so happy with the 3 network. The coverage is definitely worse than I had with O2 and some places I haven't had any signal at all.

So now I'm back online looking for a similar bargain with a different network. if anyone knows of one please let me know!

ok have the phone its ok, network seems fine.their CS it was hard to understand the operator.
So, could someone put it down as an idiot sheet how to download ringtones,from one of these free sites,one that is compatable with the 616.
The ring tone on the phone not that good, and the James Bond theme hardly goes with someone as old and rotund as me.
Please regard me as totally stupid and write it down in English with a link to the website. Ta.

Actually I am..

If you move out of 3 coverage, you will roam onto the O2 network in any case, so all other things being equal the coverage should be as good in fact better.

However, although I went for this offer myself, I'm still using a Motorola A925 phone, so maybe the NEC isn't so good as your previous handset.

Overall I've found the 3 coverage (including 3 themselves and O2) to be better than O2 alone, t mobile, orange. Not so sure about vodafone which seems to have coverage everywhere!

Ive had this phone for several days now and even though the original exitement has worn off I'm still impressed.

Its definitely a big improvement on my previous phone (nokia 3510i) which i was quite happy with. For £1.99/month is an absolute bargain. £1.99 is usually the cost of 20 text messages but you get 50 included already!

If you are looking for the the latest gadget/gizmo phone go with the Samsung D500. But you cant seem to get that for less than £25/month. This is less than 10th of the price.

i'm wasn't really interested in the video/bluetooth/mp3 stuff. I just wanted a phone and it fits the description perfectly. However I've now tried out the camera and its already come in handy.

I want to put the pics I have taken onto my pc but instead of saying install it is only letting me save to disc-anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Looks like I'm not the only one having problems trying to transfer pics from the phone to my pc. On 3GNEWSROOM.COM there are a few discussions about it :O(

just out of curiosity how long did these phones take to arrive... i wasn't expecting the next day delivery offfer to make good as the offer is bound to attract a lot of attention, but i ordered on wednesday and still haven't received it... I emailed yesterday and have had no response.

ordered on Wednesday and arrived Thursday, have checked the progress of your order online?, you should also get emails confirming they are processing your order and another confirming it has been dispatched.
