Do Clydesdale Bank now charge you £2 if you use there ATM ?

Clydesdale don't have any non-LINK machines or those that charge directly.
I would guess its either another type of machine or the LINK connection was down so it reverted to Visa/Plus network.
Drove past it again today, two machines both clydesdale (One is next to a solicitors office in the bank building), both say 'Free Cash Withdrawals' and issue Clydesdale Bank Receipts (I still have the Clydesdale Receipt showing the £30 withdrawn).
Have written to Lloyds to see what they say and will let you know.0 -
Definitely - even if it did use Visa for some reason, it's not your fault.gettingthere28 wrote: »Drove past it again today, two machines both clydesdale (One is next to a solicitors office in the bank building), both say 'Free Cash Withdrawals' and issue Clydesdale Bank Receipts (I still have the Clydesdale Receipt showing the £30 withdrawn).

Apologies for not providing some guidance on this sooner.
We are aware that a small number of people may have been incorrectly charged for using some Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank ATMs earlier in the week. This is due to a technical error, but it has has now been resolved. Just for clarity, there is no charge for using our ATMs.
We've spoken to Link and the other banks to identify those affected and so that refunds can be made over the next few days, so you've no need to take any action.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope the information I've provided clears everything up.

Yes it does, thanks for that. I had already written to Lloyds so not sure what they will do now, or if they aleady know about it.0 -

Hi,
Hate to bring this back up but it has been more than a few days now and still no fund of the charge, and no reply from my letter to Lloyds yet either !.0 -
No problem. I've just spoken to our ATM team, and, as I understand the situation, this is purely down to Lloyds having to schedule a 'run', i.e. a sort of data update, to facilitate refunds for their customers, nothing more than that. You are due a refund and it will happen automatically, it is just a timing thing, so again, my apologies.
