New PC

Sorry to jump this over here guys but I thought it would be the best place for it and also I might get a clever answer to my last post on there :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

  • You may have a bit of a wait unless you're lucky enough that someone has the time and inclination to go to hundreds of sites and price all the parts for you.

    Comparison sites aren't much good for computer bits IMO as they only cover a few sites.

    The issue I found when I built my last PC was that there wasn't one site that came out cheapest for all the parts. One part would be cheaper here, but dearer for the next part. If you're willing to source the bits from several different sites, that's fine.
    What I did in the end was use the same site for all my parts and in that way, everything arrived at the same time, although it may have cost me a few more pounds overall.

    Cheers for that Dave, I was really thinking more along then lines of someone who has already done this and could put the details on here. I know what you mean about going around the houses, I tried that a wee while back and it nearly drove me demented :eek: :eek: :eek:
