Double Glazing & Door Quote(Job now complete)

Thought I'd give an update.
I followed a lot of the advice given here and elsewhere re purchasing replacement double glazing.
I sought out quotes from National, local and independent companies. I was offered various makes of glass at wildly varied prices.
Through my search I was drawn to 'Rockdoor' as my chosen make of replacement door. This narrowed the search down as some companies refused to supply/install that particular door and insistently pushed what I felt was an inferior product.
In the end the agent/distributor that supplies Rockdoors in my area offered an independent installer that he regularly uses for both doors and windows. The guy came out and I was very impressed with his knowledge and non-pushy quote technique. He quoted £3850 to supply and fit the 7 windows, Spectus Elite 70 units and a Rockdoor to our specification. The price was agreed and he and the team came out 3 weeks later(last Saturday & Sunday) to fit. The installation has passed my keen eye for detail and the job went without a hitch. I'm very happy with the units supplied, the service and the finish!
