Looks like ... :spam: to me.
Clearly you don't actually look at the post times? Welcome to MSE, you will be calling me a troll next.
MercilessKiller, just to let you know I don't work for shopneo. I live in Bolton and they are based in Stoke who would go to Stoke?
. Their site is one I visit regularly and have done for years, just like I visit https://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly and aria.co.uk daily I visit shopneo's site and the one before daily to see what offers they have on, I am an impulse buyer if it is cheap and I have a use for it I buy like most people when it comes to bargains. I saw that they had started the crazy deals page so I thought I would post them. I have 6 months supply of DVDr but i still buy them if they come up cheap.
I know the current design is new and I think paulowen mentioned it is new and they are having a few teething problems, and I have worked in IT supply in the past and yes suppliers do let you down sometimes with delayed deliveries or short deliveries. I had read the stuff over on hotdeals and thought it could have been damaging and if paulowen or whoever posted had read the rules of the site he wouldn't have done it everyone makes mistakes
I think its actually good that he is keeping an eye on here answering questions and sorting problems for customers I don't think he has been self promoting on here I have posted a few deals and a few others have.0 -

I think your spot on there mate. I don't see how coming on here to help out with customer queries, give general feedback etc can be classed as spamming? If he was posting random deals left right and centre then thats fair enough but as far as I can tell, he isn't. He's just showing good customer service. There seems to be a serious vendetta about shopneo by a few people on MSE which seems incredibly unfair when we've all been let down in the past by various online stores. I've placed one order with them and it came through fine. I'm happy. I can just see this thread just developing into another for and against argument about shopneo!!!!0 -

I agree, I think some people are too fast to shout SPAM! In this case it looks to me that we are being advised of good deals, and good deals go out of stock fast. I am sure some people will be scared to share deals with us in case they are accused of spamming. If you feel something is spam why not just ignore it, if a member has already commented. Why do we need so many people shouting SPAM through a thread?0 -

But do you see the owners of Littlewoods, Currys or Amazon self-promoting on these boards? Oldest retail trick in the book. Put up a really cheap deal, gain more site traffic (without stock backup), in the hope the mug will buy something more profitable while there.0 -

They put up a really cheap deal on the Dysan DVD-R's which were delivered as requested. Does that mean I'm a mug for getting such a good deal delivered to me at an unbeatable price?

One of our Assistant Head Teachers was wearing a "Potters" tie during our non uniform day at school last Thursday. Perhaps he'd disagree with you, although I would not :beer:Little_John wrote:they are based in Stoke who would go to Stoke?

you should read the feedback on the svp website sound like the datasafes are a B grade disc.
no mention of datasafe on the neo site so the neo disc could be a grade A unbranded taiyo yudens.0 -
It's hardly surprising as the owners of those compnaies are multi-millionaires, no I havent seen Richard Branson on here either. I think that the owner of a small company trying to help customers here makes them better than the bigger companies, I really don't see it as a negativeBut do you see the owners of Littlewoods, Currys or Amazon self-promoting on these boards?
Internet buyers are amongst the most shrewd and well-informed customers you can deal with, and I don't actually think his internet customers will be mugs, although you're obviously entitled to your opinionOldest retail trick in the book. Put up a really cheap deal, gain more site traffic (without stock backup), in the hope the mug will buy something more profitable while there.
Spammers are people who usually turn up at about 2am and post about an amazingly cheap and simple way to make money for the rest of your life without having to do anything to earn it, not someone who offers his own personal email to people who are having any problems with their internet order from his companyThanks to all who post constructively.

I did read the comments, it's up to everyone else to do the same before they decide to buy or not.
Saying they 'sound' like they could be grade B and 'could' be grade A is a pure guess on your part, based on...well....nothing really. You should ask the sellers for the answers before spouting off possible drivel :rolleyes:0
