I want a Breadmaker sooo much!!!

Options
Hi everyone!

I'm really keen to get a breadmaker... I've been doing it by hand to get me started making my own bread, but to feasibly have HM bread on a regular basis I'd prefer a breadmaker!

Does anyone have any recommendations or good deals? I REALLY don't want to spend a lot, but equally I don't want a 2nd hand one.

Thanks in advance! :D

Hmmm... I was disappointed with the selection on Amazon, but checked Argos and they've got a Value range one for £26.99 at the moment, which has absolutely fantastic reviews and has the couple of features that I really wanted!

Of course, it's not available for delivery and my nearest 10 stores don't have it in stock.

Next best is Cookworks but nearly £10 more expensive for essentially a stainless steel version of the same thing, and its star rating wasn't as high. (only just, but still!)

    How annoying...

Electrical123 have the Morphy Richards 48322 for £38 including delivery.

Amazon have the same model for £57.50 including delivery.

It's not available from Argos but there are some reviews:

Ok it's not as cheap as the Argos Value one but it is a brand name.

Hi Coopdivi, thank you for taking the time to respond.

That is a fantastic deal on the Morphy Richards, and you're right, I'm happy to pay £9 more for a brand name - especially when it's reduced from £80!!!

    thanks again

I have a Panasonic and they are probably the best bread machines, perfect every time. There is a thread about it, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1093331

You can get it cheaply on ebay, second hand, there may also be good deals around, I don't know.

At the risk of sounding about 5 years old, I want one toooooooooooo!

But.... I want one that makes the crust along the top (iykwim) rather than across the width. Any of the ones recommended do this?
