cheapest and best internet

Just got myself a laptop and now want internet but what does it cost to have a phone conection line put in and whos the cheapest and best for wireless internet? I dont have a clue and dont want to get ripped off. I will mainly be using the internet for browsing and watching videos on youtube.

Check if you can getr Virgin Broadband (as you can get this on its own). If not, you'll be forced to taking telephone service, then having ADSL BB services added to it. Wireless Cellular (using 3G) will always be more expensive for fixed use, and the signal quality can vary between networks, as can the number of users, seriously throttling your access. Video browsing is data intensive, so avoid cellular at all costs, check for any WiFi hotspots you might be able to pick up, as this is an excellent alternative, and if a sibscription service, much cheaper than paying for a landline.0

what about using a broadband usb dongle? are they worth it or are they useless for connection0
