Excel Parking Ebbw Vale

Just been watching the Welsh version of Watchdog called xRay , and hope this thread actually goes to a high spot in a google search.

Basically Excel have taken over parking (scamming) of a shopping centre called The Walk of Ebbw Vale in the valleys. They are up to the usual tricks of taking double payments when people pay, turning down all appeals, ticketing a mini bus dropping severely disabled people off, and of course refusing to refund money back that they promised.

Now if anyone looking for advice on this, please people of ebbw vale understand that Excel Parking operate a scam, their tickets are not enforceable, they will not take you to court, they will not send debt collectors or bailiffs around, and they will not effect your credit rating.


In fact the only thing they will send you is junk mail, please understand that these invoices are a penalty it's an illegal thing for a private company to issue, ignore everything from Excel Parking.

taffy we believe you, as you obviously know excell are well known on here and 1000s of us wish they would take us to court, but they wont,we know and you know they would lose,,google michael cutts and victoria hetherington-jakeman,,,anyway dont forget on the next desk along is roxburghe (we have absolutely no powers) debt collectors and then the next threat o gram is from the phoney solicitor graham (the red ink on my letters gets bigger) white,,,all part of as you say the same scam and fake tickets. michael sobell stoops to even lower depths,,lets hope excell get ran out of town there and everywhere else,,scum of the earth.

Hopefully Excel will get fined for not having seeked planning permission for the cameras and when they do apply I bet they won't get it.

This is not for the regulars on here we know it's a scam, but hope this propogates through a google search if people from there get an invoice, I can't believe how many people has fallen for it up there, there were dozens of them on the follow up programme they did tonight, honestly I am amazed so many have fallen for this scam.

I am not preaching to us, I am trying to get a link up on google if anyone does a search on excel in ebbw vale, this thread comes top 5 on that search, if it saves even one person from paying its job done IMO google is your friend hope the people in that area know that.

X-Ray is hopeless at the best of times and the 'advice' given was useless, basically they were encouraging people to appeal to Excel's 'better nature' (as if) rather than chucking the invoices in the bin. I think Taffy's idea of referring to Excel Parking Ebbw Vale as often as possible will help push Excel Parking Ebbw Vale up the Google rankings so anyone who has a negative experience of dealing with Excel Parking Ebbw Vale is more likely to stumble across this forum and get the correct advice.

You are right andy , why the hell don't they research this scam, watchdog has the right idea with this. But getting this bumped up is what intend to do, Excel Parking Ebbw Vale are scammers a fact noted by all of us here

Well been reading the letter the local MP has been writing to them, the bpa and so on, I wish he would realise these are not penalties, they are not fines, and there is no offence committed
