Another vote here for the culinaire, it's brilliant. My mum loved it as well and promptly bought 2 cheap copies that fell apart within a few weeks.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

I am so glad to find this! I recently moved home and inherited an awful one so needing to replace it asap! When I lived with the ex should of taken the tin opener as worked a treat but can't remember where it was from.
My friends have gone through lots of them too seems to be a popular topic!I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Ohhh we thought it was just us!!! We are constantly complaining about it in this house. It seems such s tiny thing in the scheme of things, but it's a really annoying niggle!0

My OH has one hand and my DD is left-handed, both manage to open tins with the Culinare with no problems.Dum Spiro Spero0 -
Don't know about one for a lefty MrsMadMand but I have a really old cheapy one that has lasted around a billion years. I've never had this conversation with anyone lol, so I didn't realise it would be an issue for anyone.0

I use a good grips one. Very nice to use, especially when your hands aren't functioning as well as usual. I remember an electric tin opener a friend of my grandmother's had, when I was a child. The lid of a can sits inside the can, and this opening took the whole lid off cleanly, leaving no sharp edges anywhere. I still don't understand how it did that.0
