I've had several Beko appliances and been happy with all of them, none have failed prematurely. Currently got a matching Beko fridge and freezer (seperate not a fridge/freezer) and am very happy with them. Would definitely buy Beko again.0 -
Probably true.lottiecochrane wrote: »As title, my fridge/freezer has packed up and I've been told it's uneconomical to repair (the compressor has gone) ...
Nothing lasts as long as it used to. On the other hand, in real terms, they are a lot cheaper, so you get what you pay for.TBH I would have expected it to last a lot longer than this considering it's not overused or treated badly and my mum has fridges and freezers that are older than me (26 years!)
Not really, not after 5 years.I found this www dot whitegoodshelp.co.uk/wordpress/eu-2-year-guarantee-sales-of-goods-act-gives-us-6-years-to-claim-for-faulty-appliances/ and wondered if I had any comeback to Beko or the retailer for some form of compensation?"Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0 -
