i deff like the halo nails ... mine dont turn out like that though i put a base coat on and two coats of halo and it looks rotten ... like bits are missing . can anyone suggest anything ?

I don't know about the Holo's Elantan. But I know alot of people talk of aqua base, but I don't have any.

elantan...the trick with holos is to put it on fairly thick and put it on quickly. Don't go back over any spots you think you've missed (this is how you end up with bald spots, it pulls the polish back off when you go over it), don't try to even it out (the ones I've got are self-levelling anyway). It might look rubbish at this stage but it improves massively once it's dry. Don't expect it to look perfect after 1st coat. Let it dry properly before 2nd coat. Avoid top coat if poss, or sandwich your top coat like I mentioned in #3021.

I decided to use Pixi No 24 for my blue nails, it's lovely bright blue which seems fitting on such a lovely day. I added holo polka dots in silver & pink (not that the holo will show up on the pic)...
