Help! i did a green rimmel colour 2 weeks ago, no undercoat, and its all stained my nails a bit. Took it off, replaced with silver, just taken that off and i still have a green tinge on my nails :( Am using boots conditioning one. never had issue before, be it blue/black/purple.

    Any suggestions?
Very, very light buffing with a high grit file - a three-way buffer, perhaps - may help to remove some of the staining, but really the only thing you can do is disguise it while it grows out.

This is why you should always wear a basecoat as even as clear polish can stain :naughty::p

  • Yup I did a green base coat and then sponged the tips on and then put some stickers on. Really pleased with them actually!
