Sorry about that, it's really cute and such a shame it's not there anymore. I was looking forward to your pics of it too :(

I'll have another look round later and see if I can find it.

Any ideas please ladies. My nails are quite short at the moment. I had some gel nails put on a while ago and obviously they are long gone. So I used fake ones from the likes of superdrug and boots (varying types) and where they have pinged off they left my nails in a really weak state.

I find with short nails they dont seem to show off the patterns I want to do very well. I can't afford to have them professionally done every few weeks so is there anything false wise I can do at home which will last and not leave my nails in a horrible state if they ping off!!! Hope this makes sense.

Oh and I've tried to do various red patterns today and they all looked hideous so back to the drawing board on that one.

I'm not an expert on false nails but I'd be surprised if any exist that don't damage your nails in some way or another. Especially the ones you do at home. While it would be tempting to get great looking nails now, I think I'd rather persevere with getting my own nails into shape. They don't need to be long to look great.

Thats what I'm thinking Starry. Anyone know of any good nail strengtheners out there. Am using a Sally Hansen one at the mo but obviously its not doing a lot!!

OPI Nail Envy would be a good starting point, that seems to work well for most people. If your nails are quite badly damaged your best bet would be to forget about painting them (with colour) for at least 2 or 3 weeks (I know, probably not what you wanted to hear). Put on a coat of Nail Envy every day for a week or so. When it builds up too much take it off and start again. You should see some improvement in 2-3 weeks. And don't forget your cuticle oil every day as well.

Btw, I have never realised you can repair nails, I always thought they were dead. If mine are naff I just lather them in more polish until the nasty bits grow out :S

Thanks Starry. Payday tomorrow so will try and get some. They aren't badly damaged just the tips are weak. I've managed to grow out all the damage on the actual nail bit (if that makes sense).

Go without nail varnish. Isn't that swearing. lol. Thanks again

Ha ha! Not often I'd say this...but that yellow is horrid! That rivals Nails Inc Baby Poo (aka Long Acre) in its unflatteringness (is that a word?) Definitely not the right shade of yellow for your skin tone.

I'm not a yellow fan either but I have a nice Borghese one that my Mum bought for me, that's a very soft yellow.
