Oh, good grief.
The Ninja Assassin has just spotted a squirrel climbing the telegraph pole outside the front window.
He's just hurled himself halfway up the venetian blinds and is dangling whilst trying to get through them to presumably punch his way through the double glazing.
Now he's behind the blinds and the squirrel is sitting on the garden wall less than 3 foot away from the furry imbecile.
I think he wants to eat the squirrel. He'll have a shock if he ever catches one. [checks insurance policy for squirrel mauling]
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:sounds like he is related to my psycho rescue cat......
squirrel population -3 that I know of (ie the ones left on my step) vets bills +££££££'s .
He manages to kill the squirrels I have no idea how as he only has a few teeth himself! The vet is amazed and has pointed out to me that squirrels are vicious, erm maybe if he could explain that to psycho cat:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:YNWA JFT96 :A0 -

Photos attached if anyone is interested ... thank you so much for your replies. I will look at giving her a better quality of food and more of it. It seems giving in is fine and your right..she is too old to be forming habits!life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

Thankyou
Admittedly 'the poor thing' did make me feel she was terribly underweight and here I am starving her but it was a momentary feeling...I guess that's my own guilt as I have taken her to be greedy rather than hungry! It's all good and thanks again for all your posts and help. I am busy researching better quality food0 -
Oh I am so sorry, pls do not feel this way, absolutely never intended to upset you in any way, big hugs to you...
She is lovely, is she a smokey grey or just looks like that colour on the photos?
She looks quite fluffy too0 -
aww poor kitty. i wouldnt drastically change her food. i would introduce a small portion of new food to her daily untill weaned onto it.
wich means treats for her in her bowl with new food whilst on her current one and slowly remove her current one away.
she is a small kitty by standards due to thyroid, i would have her bloods done to make sure the tabs are having a good effect on the thyroid and if not slowly increase, whats the side affects of the drug???
has she been wormed? and not with the doctored moartin bobs either that stuffs no good. pancur is better in solution paste. make sure it doenst conflict with current meds.0 -

Oh don't worry I dropped it quite quickly..I know she is not malnourished! Thanks though!
She is a smokey grey tabby with little flecks of ginger at the front. She's absolutely adorable..I'm always photographing her sleeping as she is unbelievably sweet! She is quite fluffy which is another problem..small as she is vet suspects she has joint issues as she never cleans her lower half and ends up with huge clumps which we have to comb out...
She looks well but underneath it is just getting more and more health issues. Poor thing is always at vets which she hates and to show us her hatred she poos, wees and pukes on way there and back! :rotfl:0 -

Thankyou for your post. She was diagnosed in May last year and has had her bloods checked since then to see how it's all going (she is also due to have her kidney function checked beginning of March which is another blood test). The vet started her on one tab a day due to her size which has now been increased to 2 but her hunger still continues!
There are loads of side effects but the only one the vet feels may have impacted her is the kidney function.
She was last wormed by my partner maybe a month ago. I think he used Drontal but I'm not entirely sure.0 -

My experience was with my dog, he was scavenging and licking the carpet, always wanting food- the vet diagnosed him with a pancreatic problem, very rare but it meant his food passed through him with no nutrients absorbed. An enzyme powder on every meal he eats has worked, no longer scavenging! Just a thought- the vet wasnt going to test for this because it is so rare, ihe said it was almost certainly cancer....good news for me and my dog!0
