Wireless ADSL router

I signed a 12 contract deal with virgin media(NTL). 2M @ 10 a month.
I will need to buy a wireless cable router, but does the wireless cable router need to be plugged into NTL's modem.
Or is it once I buy a wirless router I won't need NTL modem anymore?
Can anyone recommend a wireless ADSL router?
Does the router include the PC side as well? (USB key or PC card)
or do I have to buy them separately?
Thanks for your advise.
