    I've been Money Tipped!
Thanks for your replies. I do have No7 lippies sometimes which are good but I do prefer the Clinique one. My only other extravagance is Clinique eyeliner at £13 and their tinted moisturiser at £21, everything is No7.

Yes, I would. The only lipstick I've ever bought which I liked was a MAC one and they're not cheap!

I've really bought an Estee Lauder foundation which was expensive at £26ish, but it's AMAZING! When I think of all the money I've wasted on trying other brands at around £10 a pop, I can easily justify the expense for a product which actually works and I like.
  • the gift with purchase is coming up soon starting end of feb beginning of march so wait till then, buy 3 of them or 1 lippy, eyeliner and tinited moisturiser from boots get the free gift and your advantage card points.
  • my friend recently told me she spent 40 quid on a vibrating mascara. ( personally i wouldnt spend that amount on one)
so dont feel so bad about the 16 quid lippy.
i am sure your worth it.
    credit card bill. £0.00
    overdraft £0.00
    Help from the state £0.00
  • I'd definitely spend £16 on a lipstick that you know you like and that works for you every day - just think how much we waste on lippies that aren't quite right. I'd buy it guilt-free and then I'd try a whole bunch of the £1 lipsticks by MUA (which are surprisingly very, very good indeed along with their single eyeshadows - I was shocked at how good) to try out some new colours and looks so you don't get stuck in a rut and change up or down a gear depending on the intensity of your eye makeup.

  • Yes, I would if I really liked it . Have you checked if your colour is avalable online ? I still buy cheapies tho' and if they're too dark or too light I can still use them by mixing them together . I do this with all the foundation mistakes I make too .
