    Good Morning ladies.

Thanks for the list Dusty. Continued prayers for Ed's steady recovery are being offered.

I'm still feeling poorly with continued tummy pain but being a Mum I really have to get on with it. I look about 6 months pregnant I am so distended:(.

I went to see Olly Murs at the O2 last night and he raised my temperature a bit ;).

I have loads of snow soaked clothes to process through the washing machine and the house is in real need of some serious TLC as I've been hugging hot water bottles on the sofa. Despite all my good intentions nobody other than DH has attempted to do any flying and I'm more than a little peeved.

Mrs Moneypenny - have you bitten off more than you can chew? Well done and hopes that your work is done quickly!

Cyclingyorkie - I hope the meeting at the CAB goes well. And well done for throwing in the towel at the swimming.

Lamewolf - are you recovered from your lurgy? I hope you are feeling much better.
  • Morning ladies :)

OK, I give in. I'm putting myself on the sick list until further notice; even Mr LW has said I shouldn't do anything apart from the very minimum to keep the place hygienic.:(

My shoulder is so bad that I can't even do round the ceilings and light fittings with the duster-onna-stick, as I can't raise my arm at all - made getting dressed this morning interesting, I can tell you!

The pain is now officially back to the pre-morphine levels and getting worse.:(; and the pain has also spread across to the other shoulder. I wish to goodness I knew what was causing it.

So..... I shall put a cloth with Dettox on round what I can get to in the kitchen, and that'll be about it, I think, unless I can devise a method of doing the rest that doesn't involve moving my hands more than a few inches from my body.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

i think ive gone OTT with the kitchen floor. my friends DH is coming to price us up for tiling the kitchen to match the hall and when i popped in for coffee friday she said he would be round soon to check how many tiles we needed etc and was hoping to fit it in before mid march over the weekend i pulled a bit of lino back to see what the plastic tiles underneath were like. GRUBBY and the back of the lino looked ratty. DD said i think you need to clean under there before you show that to people. well i wondered how easy it would be to lift the tiles so i just tested one. an hour later the cushion floor is ripped up and bagged outside the door and all tiles that havent got appliances or units on have been pryed up:eek: it looks a bit of a state now its concrete with the remains of the black glue the tiles were held down with. i hope she was serious when she said he could fit it in soon. wonder if my DH will notice what ive done when he comes homw for lunch:o

:rotfl:that sounds the sort of thing that I'd do - seems such a good idea when you start doesn't it!! Wish I was a fly on the wall for when DH gets home!

Poor you still being ill (((hugs))). At least you got to see Olly Murs last night though ;). As for only DH attempting flying besides you, I've been feeling as I'm a bit of a slave and spoke to DD about it so she's been doing little bits and bobs to help. Hard isn't it :(

Wolfie, goodness you do sound bad. Pip and I send you a big but very gentle hug being very careful to mind your shoulder and she gives you a licky kiss too (after I've made sure she's not eaten any chicken poo ). Just rest and I hope that your shoulder heals really quickly - will you have to go to the GP? Wrap up in a blanket and watch DVDs; that's what I always do when I'm ill.

Just finished my 3 typing jobs so that's more money coming in but my hands are soooo cold. About to do some lunch and let out the chooks into the garden (or what's left of it). It still looks really weird without dear little Betsy Boo; I wonder if the other girls miss her.

Here's my list for the rest of the day:

    Afternoon all

I've done the kitchen/diner this morning, including sorting out the freezers before the shopping comes tomorrow morning.

Also dusted, polished and vacuumed in the living room/hallway/up the stairs.

One load of washing draped round.

Been out for my walk, I don't go far but it's better than not moving at all.

Huge hugs LW. I have the same problem, it just happens at random times. Hip is the problem ATM again for no apparent reason. Just leave everything even the wiping round as I am sure that Mr LW is like Mr pooh and prefers you leave it for him rather than you being in pain.:)
