  • Hi - I'm in again, although flying will be restricted on Mon/Tues/Wed:-

Mon - DD1 and I at CAB re her appeal against her DLA rejection.

Tues - DD1 and I at orthodontists! (her choice!)

Wed - school swimming in the afternoon.

I have made a decision - this will be my last year of school swimming - I have done the last 4, which have got harder and harder.... the nearer I get to the 'change', the drier my skin becomes and the more I suffer from eczema in winter. Add to that a change of pool which means that we now swim for an hour rather than 30 mins and there are no showers for afterwards.

And providing DD1 maintains her slow and steady improvement I want Weds to be about Orange Wednesdays, not school swimming. My youngest child is 18 - my days of swimming with a primary school are oVER!

Thanks JJ for last weeks lists :-) I'm in Dusty for this week.

Good news about Ed really he's stable but sleepy that's boys for you. It must be a positive sign that they went ahead with facial surgery. If he's anything like my boy he will wake when everything's done and wonder what all the fuss is about :-) Sending healing vibes to Ed and love to his family and friends this really, really must be very tough on them.

You all are inspiring me to keep up the good work. Thank you :-)
Don't know how you all do so well with little ones to look after and after school clubs etc. Busy busy busy although our DGDs do keep us on our toes (wouldn't have it any other way the joys of grandchildren are wonderful)

  • Must get back on the wagon again. I seriously tailed off towards the end of last week and felt awful going into the kitchen today, because I hadn't cleaned the surfaces for 2 days. Rather unbelievable that less than a month ago my house was a tip in every sense of the word.
Will make it my aim to get to level 2 at least for everything this week.
Thanks dustykitten, for this weeks thread (and everyone else who helps me to stay on the straight and narrow).

  • Hi - I'm Rebecca, a newbie poster to the forums, although a frequent reader of them and I think Dusty must be psychic. I usually wipe down my work surfaces and hob on a Monday anyway, but this week the floor needs both sweeping and mopping, and don't get me started on the ironing! I'd also been planning to sort my cupboards out, so please can I join in?

Thank you Dusty for reading my mind .......

    Morning All

I've put some dishes away and filled the sink ready to do some more - they're never ending in this house! Wm & Td also need sorting out and I need to print some stuff off for work - yes I know I've had all weekend to do it - then if I've got time I might do a HHI.

    Have a good day all
