La senza in administration

  • I tried to return an item bought online to La Senza in Poole today to find the store had closed down, am not keen to follow the other options for returning as imagine I might then be left without the item and without a refund or replacement - any suggestions before I head down the eBay route?

    The website isn't being mentioned, but apparantly there are quite strict rules because the company have only paid for 60 stores, and La Senza is in so much debt.

    I was hoping it would be like Jane Norman but at the moment it appears that it will be gone for a while at least...

    Anyway, I spoke to customer services the day before yesterday, and she told me not to return anything through the post and to call back today to find out what to do. They are now closed. Hmm.
  • I've been trying to get a hold of someone from La Senza for a few hours.
    Had a package due for delivery today and the delivery company told me La Senza have recalled/cancelled all deliveries.

  • It's safe to assume you won't get anything off La Senza now, seems they've totally shut down.

    Best to pursue your card provider for a refund.
  • Thanks, have done that now and am in the process of getting my money back. Just annoying though that my items were in the van ready to be delivered and at the last minute cancelled.

    Glad I ordered online when I did, received my package the other day. If any of it doesn't fit, I will just ebay it. Who knows, if La Senza are gone for good then their stuff could end up being fairly sought after.

    I ordered from La Senza on 25th December 2011. Since then I have been repeatedly messed around. They have taken my money and cancelled my order. I was on hold for 4.5 hours today getting from 8th to 1st in the queue before sitting there for over an hr. No message at all about them being closed etc just we thank you for your call etc etc. I only called because the email I received from a manager said they were struggling to refund me. I then found out they had recalled my parcel. Now if you call they answer the phone and hang up immediately.

    Customers purchased before signs being removed would still have a right to refund/replacement in line with their policy. Once the signs are removed, any purchase after that don't.

    Although those already purchased items may find it difficult returning now anyway.

    Hi, Feel free to move this, I had no idea where would be best to post.

    I bought some items from la senza just before it went into administration. The items were packed and posted before the date but the delivery company refused to deliver. When I phoned them up they didn't actually seem to know the whereabouts of my parcel but said they thought it had been sent back to la senza.

    What do I do? I would file a claim to the administrators but don't know if that's right if the parcel had already been sent out. It was paid from paypal balance so can't claim on credit card (only have about a week if I need to claim through paypal)

    Submit an item not received case in paypal resolution center. They will likely refund you
